Recommended3 Stars Proximity to the city is good. For basic needs, it’s good. For the price I pay, there should be a hair blower and a microwave in each room. Went down to lobby to see if they had a microwave for general use, they said no because people may abuse it. This is not a valid excuse because many hotels have microwaves. Why should this hotel should be any different? I can’t help but wonder if there might be an audist perspective here because many Deaf patrons utilize this hotel since it’s right on the Gallaudet campus.
On Oct 18 & 19, 2019 - I was not happy that the room was very hot. I reported to the hotel service few times about A.C. needed to fix bec it was very slow and not enough cool as cold - why the heat kept running on - too hot. the weather was perfect like 70's. They didnt do anything like not checking on air condition at all. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 1 Star Rate.
I have stayed in many hotels and motels and this hotel by far has been the worst one in 38 years. No extra blankets when asked for, people banging on doors all night. Staff popping up into the room twice, toilet was clogged when we got here, staff operates at sloth like speeds. Zero organization.
The free shuttle to Union train station and onsite parking were life savers. everything was great. we could have used a mini fridge, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. We even tried to add on an additional night when we were not ready to leave DC, unfortunately they were booked solid!

Hotel has pest control problems they are keeping private. Poor customer service, do not value customers, treat you like a business transaction.

Es un buen servicio de Hotel, bonito, súper cómodo, viene cafetera. Hay personas que atienden a las personas sordas a comunicar con lengua de señas y también hablan español. Las personas de recepción son muy amable. Súper recomendado para hospedar y muy pronto regresaré nuevamente 😁.
