Dr. Lawhorn has my full trust and confidence as an orthopedic surgeon. I have had two sports injuries in the past 2 years - partial tear ACL and torn rotator cuff. Dr. Lawhorn was my surgeon and now I am back to playing tennis, etc. He answered all my questions. He is a caring and thorough doctor. I would recommend him for any orthopedic need.
I'm a new patient and didn't know what to expect. I must say that Dr. Lawhorn is awesome! He's so personable! I've never had a shoulder injury before so really took his time explaining my diagnosis when I asked for it in layman's terms. Talking to him is like talking to a friend.
What I like about Dr. Lawhorn is that he takes his time and will answer all of my questions. I walk out feeling I’m getting great medical advice. Isn’t that important to all of us?
I had a shoulder injury that was not fully fixed by my first surgeon. Dr Lawhorn performed an awesome fix that has corrected the situation. So yes, I am a huge fan of his for his expertise as a surgeon. However, there’s more that he did that put him on a pedestal in my eyes. He’s a really nice person who listens to patients, offers sound advice on options, is an incredible resource and makes a patient feel really well taken care of. Thank you, Dr Lawhorn.
The entire visit was very smooth and helpful. I waited less than 5 minutes and the staff was very professional. Dr. Lawhorn listened, clearly explained what was happening and next steps. I felt I was in good hands. Highly recommend him.
Dr Lawhorn meticulously reviewed my treatment history and verified the treatment options appropriate for me. I said yes and the ball was immediately rolling.
Dr. Lawhorn was patient, answered all my questions and discussed pros and cons of various treatment alternatives. We were then able to agree on a treatment plan and plan next steps. An excellent dialogue with a physician which is becoming harder to achieve. Thanks doesn’t say enough!
Firs visit and intervention were outstanding. Dr. Lawhorn is a great professional, felt taken well care of and in good hands. My knee surgery was just as he described the process which made feel more confident. Hospital staff were outstanding professionals who displayed excellent bedside manners and took great care of me while there.
