Knowledgeable, and personable. Dr Lawhorn has taken care of me - and my family's -Orthopedic needs for 20 years. I wish every professional contact in every field of endeavor, had the skill set and demeanor of Dr. Lawhorn.
Several years ago, Dr. Lawhorn repaired my completely torn rotator cuff. I recovered quickly and have had no problems. I recently had an upper arm problem. I missed an appointment, and unlike some medical practices, was not charged a fee. He and his staff including the x-ray technician were efficient, professional and competent.
Gave his time to explain. Did not rush
He was dismissive, rude, did not take the pain seriously, said the pain was “emotional”, became aggressive and lied in his notes. He was offended at being given notes from the physical therapist describing what was going on and said it was disrespectful to give him them. I would never go to him or your practice again.
Doctor Lawhorn is clearly one of the best in his field. Great bedside manner, so knowledgeable. His recommendation worked for me improving my pain and mobility. Nice staff, scheduling was super easy. Highly recommend!
Doctor Lawhorn is an excellent physician. He is very knowledgeable, personable and clearly explained my issue and course of action. The visit was actually enjoyable and efficient. Well done to all involved.
This doctor has seen everything in his storied career. You can trust his diagnosis and treatment recommendations to get you back to full mobility as quickly as possible. He works with top athletes as well as everyday patients. Have been going to him for more than 20 years for myself and at least 4 other family members. From injections to surgery to PT, his care has been outstanding. Highly Recommend.
