We adopted one of our girls from the KHS and she's amazing. They went above and beyond to help us find the dog we were seeking for our family. She's been with us for just over 2 yrs now and is well adjusted, loved and spoiled. Our lives wouldn't be the same without her. THANK YOU KHS!

I just saw on ksn that KHS is getting bad posts. I want to say that 3 years ago I had to put my beloved Gabby down. She was 14 years old and I adopted her from KHS. The staff was so loving and compassionate and I cannot say how blessed I was by their care. I thank you so much for that memory and I am in tears as I think about that time in my life.

I adopted a dog from there 6 years ago and I absolutely had no problems. I'm sure with all the animals there sometimes things get messy again these employees work for basically minimum wage and they're doing all they can with the resources they have if people were more responsible pet owners we wouldn't have a need for a facility like this so don't blame them blame where it starts.

Adopted Mr. Bean this afternoon and had a TERRIFIC experience at the shelter. Staff was very friendly and apologized for our wait, even though we were fine with waiting because that meant other animals were getting adopted. Look forward to many happy years with our beautiful new cat.
