3 1/2 years ago I adopted my first Great Dane and it was love at first sight! He is my "heart" dog, and hope to have many more happy years with him. When the time comes, I'll be back for another one. Yes he had some health issues when we got him, he didn't come from the best environment I am going to assume. He was full of whip worms, Guardia, and under weight when we took him to our vet. I have adopted 2 of my dogs and my cat from the Kansas Humane Society. It's nice to be able to go into a rescue center and see that the animals are being treated well and are comfortable. The staff is amazing!
I went and adopted my pretty dog, Confetti, from the humane society today! I was very happy with the friendliness of the staff! I will recommend to people looking to provide an animal with a forever home! I'm glad I got to find a friend and adopt the same day!
I would like to Thank you for making the process easy with putting my puppy Diamond to rest.. The loss of Diamond was sudden and stuck my family deeply.. I was very impressed by the facility! It was very clean and each cat had their own cat tree and were not locked in a tiny kennel. They were very busy, but they got us in pretty fast. The staff was vary knowledgeable and friendly. We love our little kitty and he is very happy and healthy!
Kansas Humane Society gives so many wonderful pets a second chance to find a new home. I am so happy they exist.
Very nice facility with true animal lovers making miracles everyday out of a tireless, hopeless situation. They do a great job under the circumstances, please get your pets spayed or neutered.
