I feel sorry for animals missing out on good homes to go to. Stop making it so difficult & complicated just to look at animals. I came in with 3 people, including myself all wanting to adopt a pet to good homes and all 3 of us left with nothing because of the way the humane Society is ran. The waiting for hours on end is ridiculous, and that was just one of the many reasons. I have worked at KHS for 17.5 years-- have worked along side so many amazing staff & volunteers who want what is best for all our animals. We have area DVMs who are advocate for KHS. I'm so thankful for the effort of staff ( especially Animal Care Team and Kevin) who keep our facility looking new even though near 8 years old! It is a wonderful facility and a positive culture -- I love my job and being a part of the wonderful work of saving animal's lives!

We've adopted 2 adult dogs and they give more than we ever thought possible. No more puppy mills! Go early,less wait time.
I've adopted 2 fur babies from here and have never had a problem with either animals nor the process of the adoption.
Everything was expected, they took their time to answer ur questions. It was great! If you want to meet the animals be expecting some wait time. Thank you
