RecommendedToday I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 13 years. Every person who helped my mom and I through the process was incredibly helpful, and genuinely caring. Jake was an amazing dog who never failed to show everyone he met love. Thank you all for helping Jakey go to doggie heaven.

I recommend them because I love animals. However, I went in at 6:00 and they would not let me adopt a cat. The older woman receptionist said, “it’s too late because they close at 6:30. I was there 2 days before at 6:00 looking for the animal I wanted to adopt. It was not a problem at that time. Finally, I’m ready to adopt and now 6:00 is a problem. I wasn’t offered paperwork to hold the cat for me or anything. I think the old lady was more concerned with going home then finding a home for the animals. I work until 5 so I can... read more

All 3 of our wonderful, spoiled dogs have come from the humane society. As my children have told people "Used dogs are good dogs too!" when someone says their buying a purebred. They all have different pasts. The white Schnauzer belonged to an older woman and he's great on car rides and to cuddle on the couch, hot him about 7 years ago. The middle one is the only one we've gotten as a puppy and she's my 2 yr old baby and she is quirky! The Sandy colored one was a stray on the loose before we adopted her about 5 years ago.
