I went into labor two weeks ago and despite any negativity I've ever heard about labor and kaiser in general, I had a beautiful experience. All the staff members were incredibly helpful with my delivery and care that we received in the two day stay that followed. Everyone was kind, professional and they went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were healthy and comfortable.
FURIOUS with Kaiser after getting a bill for an ultrasound I had done... I wasn't told I had to pay any amount besides the small fee when I checked in and got a bill for $500! Every time I've had MRIs or Surgery or anything along those lines done, I was told if there would be a cost associated with it (e.g., I was told to pay $250 when I had surgery) above the normal co-pay but I guess they conveniently forgot this time. Up your customer service game, Kaiser. Unexpected bills like this do not make for happy patients.
I got a call today from a robocall # 866-930-3305. They said they were Kaiser calling about my medicare. I called Kaiser and they said that it was not their number. BE AWARE there are all kinds of new scams out there.
