I cant say enough about Dr Shivayama. He is a great dr to see. Very careing and helped me get out of pain.
I work in neuromonitoring and am in the OR with many spine surgeons. Dr. Shibayama is BY FAR the best surgeon I have ever worked with. He is technically superb and performs his surgeries very thoroughly and in much less time than other surgeons. He is the only surgeon that I know who does minimally invasive surgery very well. He always treats the OR staff with the utmost respect and he is impeccably professional. He prays with all his patients before surgery. I would highly recommend him!
I would recommend (and have) Dr. Shibayama to anyone with spine issues. I had an old injury to the lumbar spine that required surgery - after recovering, I was better than I had been in years and able to walk and exercise again. Then several months later, while exercising, I had another injury only this time in the cervical spine. Outpatient surgery had me back up and running in just a couple of weeks. He was recommended by my chiropractor - something that is rarely done!
I wouldn't recommend anyone else. (By the way, he has nice teeth!!!)
Dr. Shibayama has been a godsend to me. I was diagnosed with a herniated disc and sciatica. I was in so much pain when I had my first visit. He reassured me that he was going to help me, and he did. I had 2 epidural injections and when that didn't alleviate my pain, I had surgery. I am happy to say that I am pain free now and owe that to Dr. Shibayama. He is the best! I recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain. He is very compassionate and will take very good care of you.
Dr.shibayama is the most caring,compassionate Dr .i have ever met.he truly listens to your concerns.he did my 1st spinal fusion in2009,and in a few weeks ,my second fusion,which will be minimal evasive.there is no other I would ever have my back surgerydone.he is truly amazing.i am truly blessed to have him as my dr Barbara davis
