A great experience. Dr. & staff was very pleasant. Dr. took the time to explain things to me.
Dr Shibayama is the best. He's a great surgeon and he personally follows up with a phone call after the surgery. He's caring and on top of everything he has a great personality, which makes you feel very comfortable. He's performed a Lumbar fusion and a cervical fusion on me with success. I highly recommend Dr Shibayama.
Dr. Shibayama is the best orthopedic surgeon in Tennessee he's very attentive ask questions and actually puts in the time and effort to take the absolute best course of action necessary to get you back on track. I'm currently going thru a few issues and unlike every other doctor I've seen he's never dismissed any concerns or issues I've had. So I highly recommend him to anyone that's finds themselves in need of medical care in his profession.

Excellent and professional.
I have had several issues with my lower back, and Dr.Shibayama is by far the best around. Knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. He doesn't rush to do surgery until he has exhausted all other avenues or until he feels that is the only solution. He has performed surgery on my step-daughter, which is an RN peds nurse on her feet 12hr days. She has had ZERO issues since that surgery which was four years ago. I highly recommend Dr.Shibayama.
Dr. Shibayama and Dr. Gaston along with all the doctors I have seen as a patient, the receptionists, schedulers and everyone else have always conducted themselves in a very professional way.
