I bought version 23 a few years ago. They have been pestering me to buy the version 25 upgrade. When I finally did, the installation failed with a cryptic message. There is no way to email or contact them. It is an incredibly frustrating experience. I should not have upgraded.
RecommendedEase of use! Works flawlessly for DSD via DoP
I was an early adopter of JRiver and can’t imagine using anything else. The flexibility for managing our media in the way I want/need to is fantastic.
I have been using the various releases since Media Center 13... and I am currently happily enjoying 24. The support is pretty good and I have had no issue contacting folk if I have a problem. A top notch bit 'o software!

I've been using J. River since Media Jukebox 4, and it's been a staple in my musical diet since. For awhile I was hooked on Winamp, because it was smaller, and provided free and easy-to-come-by visualization effects, but that was just for playing the music. I relied specifically on J River's software, all the way up through the newest version of Media Center -- #24, (though not buying every single upgrade in the line), for ripping my CD's to digital tracks, and it's basically now the only player I use. Love JRiver Media Center. Have been using them since approx 1998. Bought almost every version since. Don't know what's up with all the haters, but I would guess it's from people who are a little less tech savvy as JRMC is an amazingly powerful program that is so much more than just a media player. Yes support is only via the Forum, but they are pretty responsive on stuff.
