JRiver is a modern, well conceived, easy to use tool, even for those of us who are octogenarians and beyond. JRiver has greatly simplified the task of managing my fairly extensive collection of Opera and Classical music.
I use JRiver for ALL my media; I record OTA TV broadcast, have movies and photos but the best is my CD audio collection. I try different streaming sources occasionally but every time I come back to my JRiver CD collection I am amazed at how good the sound quality is, It stands out. I really did not understand what I was doing applying settings to the sound processor but it sounds terrific. The best. Fully adaptable to your needs. Superb sound quality. Fast.
"Why JRiver? We asked our users". Well, here is why NOT, from me. I REALLY wanted to go with JRiver as it does sound great, even at the high cost of the licence (approx $115 Australia). However I couldn't even get to first base. It made my PC (Win 10) run like a dog, kept crashing Word, I couldn't get straight and detailed answers on importing my playlists and file structure. Worse, I pay good money for a program, I expect to be able to get support. Not just a FAQ or Forum. Sorry guys, disappointed and a big fail.
