Very awkward to use. The only good thing is the brilliant sound it manages to create. But it is awkward to make a playlist, awkward to import new items, money is wasted on not needed features, takes a hell lot of time to import new items, some features mess up the metadata of your mp3's etc etc not to mention on buying fish in the sea! Promises are made to update the software but they come staggerred during the year when then they have the cheek to ask for more money for a version you already paid for. Forget it!

I began utilizing JRiver post Apple doing away with ITunes. I'm sorry that I waited so long as I love the flexibility and sound quality... Great Job JRiver team!
First, it's infinitely customizable. Second, it has a very attractive interface with optional skins. I love being able to see the covers of my thousands of classical albums arranged however I choose (composer/work is best for me). Third, it's super simple to place tags for them. If you're an audio/video enthusiast or just want the best place for all your music, photos and videos in one user friendly complete package, JRiver is your answer. It does everything you need it to and then some, and makes it simple. I have tried them all, and all others fall short at some point in some way and I have always ended back with Jriver. It just works. So why JRiver? Because it's worth it. . It's simply the best.
