While known as an expert, Dr. Ricotta is totally commited to the mental & physical health of patients. His relaxed composure with patients & their family gives no hint to his frenzied schedule. Realizing the 80% my artery blockage he sandwiched me into his schedule. The operation was done less than a week from our 1 st meeting. He described 3 surgical approaches & the usual stroke risk of each during the operation- 6% to 1%. But commented that in 3,000 operations, he NEVER had a patient suffer a stroke. His office staff are consistently on time,efficient and friendly.They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the patient.Dr Ricotta is a world renowned surgeon with patents in new techniques to avoid the long term surgeries that were needed (such as bypasses) to remove blood clots.He performed my procedure in a very short time at an outpatient facilities and I walked out soon after.??
