I recently had surgery in my lumbar to repair damage to a herniated disc. The surgery was a complicated one and Dr. Cheatle did an awesome job. I cannot imagine going to another neurologist. He is compassionate and speaks kind words, a very necessary thing weather in an office visit or visiting me in the hospital after surgery. He has incredible energy and He always has a good answer to my questions. He makes me feel confident about my health plan and goals. I highly recommend. Dr Cheatle.

Dr Cheatel is the most thorough and explanative doctor I have encountered in Myrtle Beach. I had spoken to several people prior to my visit who raved over him and now I am doing the same. I am looking at back surgery and feel I have finally (after 3 years of searching) found a doctor I trust with my spine. It is a hard decision but I feel comfortable he will make the needed repairs so I am no longer in daily pain.

After getting 6 different doctor's opinions, a friend told me I needed to see Dr. Cheatle to help me with my really messed up back. Every doctor wanted to open my all the way up and put a rod down my back. He informed me that that was the worst thing I could do. He was also the first doctor to suggest doing a nerve study of my leg to see exactly which levels of my spine were symptamatic. After getting the results he did a lamenectomy/discectomy on L4 and L5. So far I feel much better.
Dr. Cheatle just did surgery on my spine. He did a resection of t12 to remove a cyst and have it sent to Pathology. He also did a segment one lamadectory. Not only did he take care to rlax me through the whole procedure telling me what to expect all the way through, he stayed with me from beginning to the end. I was very apprehensive about the procedure he relaxed me knowing he was going to guide me all the way through, he checked on my progress daily and was there everyday.Very caring!
This is the man responsible for saving my life. Something called a bone flap surgery was I guess required to do so and this man did it. I guess they had to take all my hair to do so. Yeah I hate that it's gone but at the same time I'm happy to be here. I was part of a large accident last May and this is the guy I owe my life to. :) So I do want to meet this man and if I have to go all the way back to Myrtle Beach from Ga I will.
