Dr. Cheatle was very friendly and professional and explained everything to me in detail. Staff was also friendly. Wait time for appointment was minimal. Office is conveniently located in the Ballantyne area with lots of parking. I would definitely recommend him and his office staff.

Dr Cheatle performed spinal surgery on me in 2016. I actually woke up in recovery pain free. I had been in pain for 13 years prior to this surgery. I have praised his talents and knowledge since. As a nurse, I also cared for his patients post operatively. He is a very skilled and talented neurosurgeon. I would recommend his services to anyone in need.

It was horrible! He screwed up my surgery causing a second surgery to remove part of vertebrae because he was at my spinal cord now! He never came to see me and he has a nurse talk to you instead of him at office follow up. At 2nd surgery same thing happens and surgery went terrible. He refused to see me after surgery and left me no after care. He refused again to see me at office until I said I wasn’t leaving. He treated me like a criminal. I’m suffering terrible effects years later. He is the worst surgeon and person on th... read more

Seems to be two threads here in reviews. Dr Cheatle operated on my husband on an emergency basis. Move surgery to an earlier time and never contacted me. After the surgery he was no where to be found. Never contacted me once. Next time I saw him was two weeks later (after 1 week in intensive care and one more week in the hospital) was to discharge him. Wrote a letter to the hospital and he refuted every thing I said. The hospital could only listen but not do any thing. I just hope the back surgery holds.
