The initial wait to get into see him and schedule surgery was a few months but worth it I had some some unforseen circumstances that occurred. I had a thin Dura which required a patch and also obtained an infection so going with the best paid off. Dr. Cheatle stopped to speak with me every day I was in the hospital. Which over a three-week period of time was quite a bit. He kept me informed on my condition and the plan of attack Very good Dr with a heart of gold.
A very professional, thorough and personable physician. Dr. Cheatle takes the time to review all your medical records, diagnostic and imaging reports and then provides a complete examination. He then talks to you in a way that puts you at ease during your visit. He gives you his opinion, alternatives and makes recommendations so that you have all the facts to make a sound decision.
I highly recommend anyone who needs neurosurgery to see Dr. Cheatle. He is top in his field in my opinion. He is professional, kind and caring. He takes the time to explain what needs to be done and answers any questions you have without rushing you out of the office he gives you the time you need, unlike some Doctors who always seem to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. His staff is very helpful and always pleasant.

He shows interest in every visit and ask if there are any other issues. Always is very pleasant and always give you possible options of items that might help! Never rushes to get you out! I have recommended him to two other patients and my wife is now seeing him.
I have been a pt of Dr Cheatle for the last two years. He always has taken time to explain my care plan and answer any questions I have. The compassion and professional manner that Dr Cheatle and his staff have shown me and my family has been amazing. I feel blessed to be cared for this wonderful team.
I have to give Dr. Cheatle all five stars and even more if they were available! In 2015 I began having great lower back pain along with leg pain and numbness. Dr. Cheatle performed the lumbar stenosis surgery and I immediately was relieved of the pain and numbness. I strongly recommend Dr. Cheatle to all who need an excellent neurosurgeon.
