Keep people informed when running behind. Having to search out someone to let you know what is going on is absurd. Very disappointed. Second visit update Second time here in a year. We get in for day surgery and we are told nothing. Our surgery time comes and goes. We are given no information. Go to the front desk to ask for information and find out they are 40 minutes behind. My wife's surgery was suppose to be at 9:55!! I had to ask at 10:20 what was going on. Not informing patients of a delay is lot acceptable. People don... read more

On December 19, 2018, I had an operation on my arm- Dr Paul Carter repaired a compressed nerve. The professional staff, from front line admission to the nurses and wonderful volunteers made my experience a lot less stressful. Dr Carter did an amazing job, and the new facility is first rate. Will be coming back to do my other arm soon.

The doctor and nurses were compassionate as well as the paramedics. They made me feel comfortable and whats more, I got into the ambulance Friday morning with my t-shirt no jacket when I was discharged the nurse said keep the hot blanket for your cab ride home as it was freezing. Now that is a class act!

New hospital, but same old crusty and grumpy nurses in emergency. work on improving your staff JB, not your fancy exterior.

Business response:

Hi Carol, we have some amazing world class staff here, however there is always room for improvement. As you mentioned, improving is something we’ve been working hard at outside and inside the building. Patients are absolutely the most important thing, and we’ll continue to work to prove that to you and every patient we see. You are welcome to reach out to our patient relations team as well: 905-632-3737 ext. 4949 patientrelations@josephbranthospital.ca

I’m just wondering who’s idea it was to to put the curtains that are a third mesh in the rooms as a dividers. They provide no privacy and allows any one to look into the next bed. And doesn’t provide any blockage of the lights from the next bed. They only block the first five feet from the floor. I think that a little more though should be put into the room dividers. Oh maybe solid curtains. My wife found it hard to get any rest. Especially with three men looking at her through the curtains and the light being turned on and ... read more
