Recommendedyou need to fix your ER check in process. the nurse just tells people as they come in to take a seat but there is no number system or name taking so no one in the waiting area knows who's next. it took a few of us to sort out our order on our own after an admin person came out and seemed to get upset with a bewildered elderly lady because no one came to get her to check in and everyone kept going in ahead of her. the admin person didn't wait to help her just told her to get out of her wheelchair and go check in. in the past ... read more

Our paths crossed when I arrived there at 5:40am yesterday with severe abdominal pain. Throughout the next eleven hours until I was diagnosed with a kidney stone, I had very good care from your staff and I would like to thank them: ER nurse Chantal, ER Dr. Aziz, CT scan technician Megan, the porters, the lady who registered me and other nurses who helped when Chantal was occupied with other patients. No one in emerg gives a care in the world about you or your kid.
I think Joseph Brant hosptial is the worst around. Instead of the nurses doing there job, they gather in a group and joke around when people need help. I had surgery there, and ended up with an infection and i had nurses come in to my home daily for 6 months. They have to train nurses to care for people that come in there, or else they shouldn't be working there. There is no need why someone who isn't seen after 8 hours. The nurses are not doing there jobs.
This place is a called a hospital for what reason exactly I rather die outside than ever walk or get carried in to this place hamilton gen is a hell of a lot better
