Get directionsI had to take my 3 year old son to the ER today and was nervous to do so during the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff were wonderful. We were triaged quickly and seen by a doctor within a half hour of arriving. My son needed a blood test and the doctor and nurses were so caring and patient with him, reassuring him while they were taking his blood and even gave him a freezie afterwards, which made him happy. Not that I would expect otherwise, but to be so kind during this time under all sorts of stress, it did not go unnoticed. Un... read more
This hospital has had multiple patients sent to them with pneumonia, fever and cough and not one of those patients have been tested for COVID. These patients are sent back to their homes, retirement homes or long term care homes telling everyone that they have declined so rapidly because of underlying illness. How do they know this if they are not testing these patients who meet the criteria for COVID. It sounds extremely irresponsible. The WHO recommends that we cannot test enough. Three days in there I was treated with utmost care, friendly staff and a clean well run Hospital. Thanks to all the nurses on floor 6 March 8 to 11th.
Compassion and active listening skills. Because they refused to listen and take me seriously with health issues, I fell due to low blood sugar as was one of the problems I was having, smacked my face, my arm, broke my glasses. I was iv'd and sent home with no head trauma assessment, on my own. Now I have a severe head trauma that looks like is going to need surgery. Oh and the nurses, grrrr. Go back to school or get a new job.
A nurse named Arlene is an angel who went beyond the call of duty helping me in the parking lot
Fire all incompetent and unethical Managers ! Mangers get 8% -15% salary increases, while front line receive only 1% - 1.5% !
More staff training..they are very good nurses but not properly trained on a lot of medical procedures and proper care . I agree more funds should be redirected to this area rather than decorations and wall murals
very compassionate and caring nurse's in the NICU.
I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. Sadly I have made two reports one via email and one via voicemail. Not one person reached out. I think it’s time to contact the media or make a quick video regarding our experience at JBH. Their greeting on the complaint/concern line states they will follow up in one business day! It’s been weeks. I expect better, especially knowing that I always supported JBH in the past. The doctor was going to send a women home with numerous blood clots in her chest and lungs. Everything ha... read more
