I wouldn't use their services again if my life depended on it. My experience proved to me what real predators are like. After laying my Mom to rest, I immediately called a crematory. I want NOTHING to do with any funeral home; particularly this one.

I would never recommend this funeral home to no one they are very disrespectful I had surgery Friday the day of the viewing and missed it due to it ending at 4pm. Then the day of the funeral starts at 1pm my mama told them I was 5 minutes away I got there at 1:04 and they closed the casket and said they was on a time frame I was never able to see my grandma for the final time and then they are getting over on prices. Didn’t have no police escorts at all I was very disappointed with the services.

I am writing this review because I am a firm believer that when a business goes above and beyond what is required in their duties, then it needs to be made known to the public. Oris P. Jones Funeral Establishment in South Hill, Virginia is one of those businesses. On Saturday, April 23, 2022, this funeral home handled the services for my late father, Herbert Hoover Evans.
