The professionalism of the team was great. Our experience with Dr. Chikwe was outstanding. This was our first meeting with her and yet we feel like a long time patient. She was caring in every respect and gave us insightful input and also welcomed both our questions and our own input on the options and issues on the table. So very much appreciated her approach.
Dr. Chikwe is the best surgeon on the West Coast for my heart problem and I respect and value her advice.
I first learned about Dr. Joanna Chikwe from a friend that had a robotics mitral valve repair in November, 2024. Dr. Chikwe operated on my mother’s heart on January 3, 2018 and something went wrong. She walked into the hospital for a routine value procedure and 128 days later she died having been in the ICU for a month, then transferred to Kindred in NJ for breathing treatment. Calls, emails and conversations were made and all were ignored by this doctor.
