Upon entering the office I was immediately welcomed and taken to "the chair" by Mary, the "cleaner". Yearly ex-rays were taken of my molars, the cleaning proceeded with no complications, then the dentist, Jon, came in and checked my mouth and the x-rays...some jokes were told, a thank you given, the bill paid and then I went for Hot and Sour soup at the Panda with my friend Christopher...all is well, no new cavities, and I have an appointment in October to do it all again...hopefully nothing untoward will occur in my mouth u... read more
Dental work is often not very pleasant. Yesterday Dr. Jon Gotterer and his assistant Heidi completed a lengthy and complicated set of procedures with a minimum of discomfort and disruption of my well-being. Thank you, Heidi, for offering to adjust the musical selection to my taste. Thank you, Jon, for taking a break so that I could shake off some of the tension and stretch my legs. I have been a patient of Dr. Gotterer for several years. I have had my teeth cleaned by Joanne, one of the hygienists in the office. They consistently provide excellent, comprehensive service. Everyone in the office is pleasant, thorough and solution oriented. I have moved from the area, yet return to Dr. Gotterer's office because of their commitment to quality and superior service. Dr Gotterer takes his time and does a fabulous job. I am very, very happy with the way my front teeth look after getting 3 filled. He and his staff are also very courteous and pleasant to be around.
My teeth were a mess, with unevenness, food getting stuck in the gaps, a crooked smile, and significant bite issues causing tooth enamel to flake off. The long term health of the tooth structure for several teeth was not good. Upon evaluation and discussion of options, I decided to invest in my oral health and undergo a full mouth restoration of all teeth to correct the underlying problem of the bite.
