I’ve been a patient here for the past 6ish years and I can’t say enough nice things about Dana. I can tell she’s busy, but she makes sure to spend as much time as I need going over all of my concerns. I don’t feel rushed or pressured to cut myself off at my visits.
I would strongly discourage anyone who asked me if they should consider going to this practice. As with many (most?) practices, getting your first appointment is very difficult - they won't help you until you have a "new patient appointment" and they won't schedule those (usually) in less than 3-4 months. I tried not to hold this against them rather than the state of healthcare broadly. What I do hold against them is that once I finally became a patient, the quality of care was not great. I swear I can't say enough about how amazing the nurse practitioners, and the Dr's along with the rest of the staff in Bethesda are. They're truly amazing. Dana Fleischhacker,CRNP is my primary care and she is truly a one of a kind. Me, my husband and my mom all see her. Too bad she isn't taking on new patients because I'd have my whole family and friends going to her. She takes her time and listens and never makes you feel rushed. I find it very surprising to see these bad reviews. I've been coming here for years and had nothing but great experiences with my nurse practitioner Dana. She takes the time to listen to your health issues and seems very caring. Dana is definitely from a different line of health care workers and we need more people with her abilities and outlook towards patients.
