CLOSED FOR THE SEASON, Thank you for another great summer! An Outer Banks tradition, John's has been a favorite with locals and vacationers since 1977! Serving Fresh Tuna and Fried Dolphin served with homemade tartar sauce or fresh made cocktail sauce. Also available many flavor of malt, fresh fruit milkshake and other tasty ice cream treats. John's gives free ice cream to dogs, horses, rabbits, skunks and any other type of pet that you would bring to John's would earn you a "puppy cup."

Glad we checked this place out... fabulous fresh dolphin boat, shrimp boat was great too! Daughter had the burger & liked it as well. The shakes were among the best we’ve had too!

Awesome milkshakes and lunch food
They took great care of us! We are on our honeymoon and they’re actually the first place we stopped in that. Once they heard we are on our honeymoon they gave us complementary milkshakes with pink and blue straws and we were sure to get matching shirts and a sticker to put it on the back of our car. We ordered the dolphin and the fries and it was delicious! WE LOVED IT!
