I experienced a professional attitude from the two members of staff who I encountered.
We had an appalling experience with these guys. We sought to instruct them act in the sale of my mother- in- laws property following her death late last year. My wife spoke to their senior partner Bernadette and explained that she was keen to deal with a firm who could provide a personal service rather than one that was purely process driven. This simple request at a sensitive time engendered the rudest response I have ever witnessed in over 40 years in the profession myself. Awful. Don’t use. We didn’t.
I enquired about selling a relative’s home and the solicitor was so rude and kept talking down to me. Definitely wouldn’t recommend!!! Will be looking elsewhere.
I had the misfortune of dealing with John Welch and Stammers Solicitors. They massively lacked empathy and professionalism. The staff member I spoke to, Bernadette, was particularly unhelpful and rude. It felt like my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. It’s astonishing how a firm that claims to specialise in legal matters can lack basic human decency. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience. If you have any other options, I would highly recommend using another firm.
Never in my life have I ever used such terrible solicitors. They are the reason our house sale fell through and I cannot recommend enough to never use them.
