This is the only commercial airport in Orange County, situated 35 miles to the south of Los Angeles. It has two runways and parking space for over 7,500 vehicles. Over nine million passengers avail of its services each year, and over 20,000 tons of air cargo is handled here. Three commuter, 11 commercial and two all-cargo airlines operate from the airport too.

The John Wayne airport was one of the best airports we have flown into! I especially like the fact that when you return your rent a car, that's all you have to do is walk across the street and you're at the terminal!! Most larger airport you have to get on the shuttle luggage and all and go to the terminal! Not fun! The airport was very clean and the American Airline agents for very helpful!!!
Great alternative to LAX. Orange County is SO much better.

Fun Airport.. Like the updates. Keep them going. Nice bars you have to choose from... Put a In-Out in the food area for more choice

John Wayne's great, easy to fly into if headed to Disney, Long Beach etc. Friendly TSA agents, great staff, love the full throttle take offs and max breaking on landings. Doesn't disappoint.
