John has done carpentry and gen maintenance for me for 12 years. He always does a great job and is a lovely guy as well. He has repaired windows and doors, decked my garden, done shelving, boarded my loft, panelled the side of two baths and helped w plumbing issues amongst many other jobs. Only reluctance about recommending him is that he may get too busy to help me :)
