Dr Stokes and his PA and nursing team are all very patient focused. They do not make the visit feel rushed. Time is given to explaining med info clearly and using an IPad with great graphics to help learners both visually and with audio learning styles. It is a well run office and enjoyable to interact with everyone there. He establishes trust by the patient focused approach he uses. His PA is equally pt centered and takes time to assess symptoms and concerns. Janene J.

Friendly - made me feel comfortable. Professional — very professional talking with me. Respectful to me. Knowledgeable— discussed my MRI and explained all concerns with extreme knowledge of spine and problems I have with my spine. Reassured me that I have problems but nothing that needs immediate surgery. Dr. Stokes said he would like to see me in 3 months which made me feel good. He has concern for me by wanting to see me in 3 months. I felt better about my condition after talking with Dr. Stokes. Very good meeting!

I’ve had chronic back pain over 25+ yes restricting lifting, standing, walking, & sitting for more than 15-20 minutes. I have MRI’s & x-rays that about 20-yrs for comparisons of the degeneration of the disc & deterioration of L2-L3. The earlier scans show healthy discs w/ no indications of abnormalities. Recent scans over 24-months clearly show total disc disintegration between L2-L3, and shifting of L2 that intrudes into my ... read more

Beyond expectations! My concerns were heard. I was educated in terms that helped me understand my diagnosis and recommend procedure. I was provided info on pre and post operative care, as well as several phone calls to assure my initial recovery was starting out positively. I can recommend Dr Stokes with confidence!

5 stars for thorough review of all past images that prevented unnecessary spine surgery and found large brain tumor that endangered my mobility, His thoroughness and willingness to consider alternative sources of my problem made all the difference.
