Dr. Stokes has helped me through 6 spine operations over 22 years. I would not see anyone else. I even traveled back to Austin for my last operation. He is superb! His entire staff is very professional and friendly. I have always been treated as 'special' in office, surgery and hospital. I love them all.

I feel as if I am her favorite patient. I was astonished after my first visit to get a telephone call from her. Competent and kind. She is a rare find in today’s medical world.

Couldn’t happier with a doctor. Dr Austin is not only very highly qualified to do EMGs (board certified in that procedure and with fellowship training according to the website), but she’s thorough, compassionate and an amazing listener. She was interested in and listened to my long and complex history and provided insight into my other neurological diagnoses. I also had much less pain than before. I did premedicate with acetaminophen but I believe that technique makes a difference!

Dr. Stokes, to coin a phrase, is the Rock Star of spine surgeons, professional, experienced and patient friendly. The one thing that has stood out to me is he will not operate unless all other options for treatment have been exhausted. I highly recommend Dr. Stokes!

Dr. Austin was very empathetic about my concerns and gave me some insight into how to handle my situation. She set up a more focused evaluation of my symptoms through imaging which I need to identify exactly what I am dealing with and then she will provide recommendations for me. She is a very knowledgeable person who I trust to help me.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Koltz. I felt he was always very pleasant during my appt With him. He never made me feel like he was rushing through my appt and was always very patient with me. I had a pretty bad revision needed and he did a great job fixing my problem. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing spinal surgery.

Ashley Dr Stokes nurse was very friendly and informative! Dr Stokes went over everything and explained it all so I could understand exactly what’s gonna happen during surgery!
