Dr Young is arrogant, not willing to take the time to properly diagnose. His go to diagnosis is ADHD, and if you can't tolerate just one of the medications, it's your own fault, and he shoves you out the door, despite being depressed and suicidal. He has no interest in actually finding a proper diagnosis, though is quick to push his new book, and to flaunt his education in your face.
I only saw Dr. Young once, like 5 years ago, when I had to find a child psychiatrist for the year or two until I was 18 and could go see the psych my sister was going to. As other reviews have said, he was very condescending and the way that I described the actual appointment was that it felt like he was using a Buzzfeed quiz to diagnose me. He is incredibly condescending and uncaring. I cannot believe someone like Dr. Young is a physician. He should not be practicing medicine and I feel bad for all the patients who go see him seeking help. He will not listen to you, he will not help you, and he will not show you the least bit of compassion.
I have been seeing Aliya Pasik for a few years and she has helped me tremendously would most definitely recommend her .
Be wary of the positive reviews here. Dr. Young has a good practice, his staff is great. But that's where it ends. Dr. Young is neither accommodating nor understanding. He's downright rude and may make you feel much worse. Condescending is a good word. I'm sure he does good research but he's not the clinician you want to talk to about your problems. If he reads these reviews I hope he takes it in a constructive manner, because it seems like I'm not the only one who feels this way.

The most condescending, arrogant doctor you can find - anywhere - Staff is inappropriate and apparently hired for reasons unrelated to competence. Seems driven to lower self esteem of patients. Find someone else.

I am a 21 year old female with unsolved health concerns. And that right there was enough for Dr. Young to show me nothing but disrespect. He had no care about what I had to say and the last time I visited him he made me feel so incredibly stupid by making snarky comments about how he's the doctor and I'm not. He was very one-track minded, not even taking into consideration my thoughts and almost scolded me for questioning him. Truthfully, he just seems entitled and rude.
