This happened twice! Reached out to roadside assistance waited over 2 1/2 hours just be told the provider cancelled. They didn’t call me to tell me this I called them back. Last year the exact same thing happen when I couldn’t get my car towed I had to reach out to someone and do the work myself I waited 4hours missed work just for them to tell me once I called and said what’s the hold up they said oh the provider cancelled, so why didn’t anyone inform me? We have had home and auto full coverage with state farm for about thirty years. About 15 years ago we had a hit and run (we were the hit) filed a claim. They paid 500 we paid 3200. Three years ago we had to have a floor replaced because of a leaky AC that ruined our floor. They paid 600 we paid 4000. Four months ago Tr***** ** had a tornado go through and destroyed a lot of homes and life's. Our roof got damaged from the hail and wind. We paid 14000 to have the roof replaced. Worst insurance company. Known to contractors as "Snake Farm" because of their business practices. They lie, deny, stall, slow walk and do whatever they possibly can to make your life a living h*** so they don't have to pay out. I've been battling them for 7 months on my claim just trying to get them to do the barest minimum of repairs to wrap up my claim so I can actually move on from this nightmare and get my life back! Whoever plans to call State Farm for any kinds of insurance needs, please hang up. When you need to deal with claims, there's completely no room for good faith. Always bring in experts or professional to represent you; otherwise you'll get $0 for your claims.

I have been a customer for State Farm for years. I have always paid my premiums before it was due and I have never filed a claim until this year. State Farm sent me to a repair shop within their network. I waited almost two months before **State Farm sent an adjuster. In the interim, I paid significant amounts of money for *****and car rentals. Finally, State Farm sent an adjuster. I never received any phone calls about what work would be done and/or costs. I’ve had insurance with State Farm for several years. I was in a minor accident on 4/5/2022. At the time I had my sons car seat in the vehicle. I live in C********* and know about Insurance code 11580.011. They promised to send me a letter regarding the car seat stating what to do next. we were with state farm for 3 months then all of a sudden they dropped us without letting us know. we found out though. We were covered till end of June 2022. So, we switched back to our original insurance company we had. Well, May 2022 we had an accident and current insurance started working on it and state farm adjuster waited till June to contact us. State Farm sold my elderly mother a home owners policy when she was in her 70s, I believe. she is now 98 and has been paying for almost 30 years with no claims. She now needs repairs to her roof, looks like damage from some kind of rodents. State Farm says "your policy only covers damage from bears and deer"!! Buyers beware! If you have slab Insurance DON'T ASSUME it covers your slab, foundation. They have clauses inside of clauses inside of more that allows them to deny paying for fixes. My dad was told due to the type of soil here in east ***** they don't cover slab cracking which inturns causes a wall to lean possibly fall and injuring someone. They don't cover sink holes that appear from underneath your slab. Have clauses for that. The slab Insurance will cover a leaky sewer line that might have caused some structural damage. ... read more
