Canceled my policy that was auto payment for a non updated phone number. They emailed me twice which went to my spam and I didn’t know it. I called after finding it. To late. No notice no nothing. Then tried to tell me they needed to know who lived at my address and who drove. My two daughters and i. Of which im the only driver’s license holder. They ain’t on my policy for that reason. Bogus excuses. Told me they would see about reactivating my insurance that had been canceled three days ago and call me back. Still waiting

I changed insurance company and state farm with drew my payment which they shouldn't have and it's been over a month and still no refund.
filed a claim on my roof for storm damage may 2021. had over 50 missing shingles and several more that were loose and had one area of the roof which was leaking inside to the sheetrock roof in the kitchen causing water damage. had my contractor come out and we started the process. at first things seemed to be going along fine. my contrator assured me the roof needed to be replaced. everything turned when state farms inspector came to job. inspector agreed 100 % with my contractor then filed a total different report with thei... read more
State Farm is worthless. If you have this insurance...drop them immediately before you need to file a claim. They will only pay a fraction of the repair bill, leaving you with the remainder. In my case, nearly 2000 dollars. I have been a loyal State Farm customer since 1979...and that means nothing. I have been with State Farm for years but will be shopping for new insurance now! We had a hail storm come through on June 18th. My contractor said I had hail damage to my roof, gutters and vinyl siding. The first adjuster said I had damage to my only the gutters on the front of my house. No hail damage to my roof and NEVER even looked at my siding. Contractor came out and took pictures and submitted to my agent. They assigned a new adjuster to my case. Why do we pay for insurance if we can never use it? I have been in my home for 19 years and only filed one claim with state farm and that was for the roof. I noticed water coming up through my kitchen floor last week and called to file a claim after learning a pipe has gone bad. The water had to be turned off. I was informed today my claim was denied because it appeared the pipe had been leaking for a while although I was not aware of it. They find every loop hole in the world to deny claims. Absolutely awful customer service. I was charged when I didn’t need to. They will issue me a refund check but it will take now longer. Nobody seems to want to help. They keep on saying that is not the correct office. They send you to another one. There is no connection between anyone. I will not recommend State Farm to anyone.
I feel as though the claim specialist (Marisol ******) in this company that I have worked with recently was horrible. She tells me unless I can provide receipts I don’t get reimbursed for my items. It’s not my fault that where I stay didn’t look into the problem that caused the first claim , the second claim that I dropped or the one that I’m currently going through where my ceiling had to be pulled. A tree has came down on our structure and we've been giving the runaround on who was going to come and assess the damages we have sent numerous pictures we have did live video camera check they're trying to send all these different outside companies to come look at the damage when our own adjuster hasn't even came I'm not happy with them I will never go with them again as soon as this is taken care of I'm changing my insurance all of my insurance nobody wants to come and look at this but they want to keep sending outside com... read more
