Insured with state farm for a number of years. I have 2 boys and myself. My youngest son had a fender bender that I fixed myself and the rep from Clint s**** office called me stating she was going to cancel my services if I didn’t give her my sons info. Which they already had. I called the office and way told my coverage was still good and he will find out why Lynn wants to cancel my policy. On 8/09/21 I called and talked to Alex, the State Farm agent, for a quote on my manuf. home insurance. He quoted $504 I paid with my credit card and I felt relief that it was done. On 8/23/21 Alex calls and says the Underwriters say they can't insure my home due to it's location at **** * *******manufactured home park. No reason given. It would have saved me much aggravation if he had checked with the Underwriters before he took the money! We have been with State Farm for 22 years. No claims in the last 16 years except for Road Side Service. Because we used Road Side service 4 times in 48 months they are taking away our Roadside Service. We pay over $6,000 in insurance to State Farm a year and they say we use spent more in Roadside service than we pay them, so they are removing it. This is wrong.
Worst Customer Service imaginable. I've been A State Farm insured since about 1984. That means nothing to State Farm. Final straw for me is their refusal to follow through on a Comprehensive claim I just made. I was driving in a parking lot, pulled over into the firelane and stopped to pick up my daughter as she exited the store. A motorcyclist behind me almost rearended me as he raced through the lot. My car was in a Hurricane and my car was towed to a gas station. My car sat for 2 weeks on a gas station lot and I kept calling State Farm about when the towing company that worked for them was going to get my car. Back and fourth with them for a whole month on the phone and then finally I called my agent and took it up with them, The towing company took my car to different dealer then the one I wanted them to take it to. On 10/08/2021 , One of State Farm drivers was at fault for failure to yield to on coming traffic. The driver turned in front of me tring to enter a parking lot. He made his turn right in front of me, causing me to apply my breaks to avoid collision but collided anyway. The state farm driver admitted to officer and myselft hat it was his fault because he didnt see me and he turned in front of me causing the accident. I find it very unfair that state farm wants me to send them copies of both my 2019 and 2020 taxe returns in order for them to finish processing the second policy that I took out. They claim that it's high but it doesn't matter I took it out because I wanted to have a policy for both of my children and I can afford it. But I guess when your a African American not living in the high end areas your not privileged enough to have two polices. Filed a claim on my shed and contents. Most of which was completely destroyed. This was filed on 8/4/21. I was given a claims agent and was told by her to take pictures of everything and upload them to her, weeks later she tells me I have to take everything out and take pictures. I asked that they send an agent out to do this( I am disabled after having swine flu in 2009. Respiratory issues large hernia in stomach and back issues) I was told that wouldn't happen. I was hit by their insured and 3 months later they still have not covered the damages nor have they been concerned for any of my injuries. Everything they have said they would do they did not do. When i finally got a hold of. A manager i thought something would finally be done just to find out they had toeed my vehicle 4 hours away when the place i requested was down the street from my house.
