This is not a reflection on HMH or HMH Cancer Center. This is a reflection on Dr. Adam Lye. “First, do no harm.” Apparently, Dr. Adam Lye does not believe in this oath. He left cancer patients, without notice, in Elizabethtown, for a position at Norton’s in Louisville. He had no concern for the stress and duress that this would cause persons already battling an unconscionable disease. Been here 5 1/2 hours haven't seen a dr. Look out the door and er staff is sitting around eating and talking
In waiting room 30minutes spend another 2 hours in a ER room never checked on never seen a doctor. Flu symptoms and strep symptoms. 2 hours! Decide to leave find out that we wait room is empty and there has not been an ambulance nearly all night. You can remodel to make it look nice but you can't see patients in a timely manner when it's obvious there is more than enough time. Will never go to this hospital again don't care if i am dying! This hospital is a joke! When you sit up there with your Daughter crying cause of her stomach and never check on her,and say we are waiting for a doctor to come in! Really?This is the ER! Then they tried to put an IV in and they hit an artery and she is bleeding everywhere and the nurse says it will be okay! NO,my Daughter is bleeding and you hit an artery.She could have bled to death and died.And she has been a nurse for 5 years� Hmmmm something is wrong there! Why is your hospital restricting me to bring my other daughters to go see their mother and new born sister? I was told that they must stay home and they cannot go see them. Please help me understand this rule. So, this basically saying that any one over 12 years old can visit and the flu virus that they may have will not kill people but a child under the age of 12 years old can?
