Disappointing to be honest. We decided to go with a premium local service because we were so excited to get dressings sorted. Order took a long time and we waited months and months for installation. Not cheap but most of the blinds (we ordered several) were good. We went with JL Ball because they offered a measuring service. But in the living room they got the measurements wrong for our verticals, so the blinds are too long and therefore sit on the carpet leaving them resembling a wonky set of teeth. (See the pic.) We have recently ordered window blinds to reduce unwanted solar heating in our south facing windows. J&L Ball supplied and fitted these expertly and we are very pleased with the results. We also bought an electrically operated awning, and again we are very pleased with this product and the service we received. There was a small problem with the sensitivity setting for the 'wind buffeting sensor' which was expertly dealt with over the phone. We can thoroughly recommend this family run firm.
Worst possible experience from start to finish. Took an entire year and was a catalogue of errors from 'blinds destroyed in transit' to drilling into our brand new window frames in our brand new house - when we had specified not once but *twice* that we absolutely didn't want our window frames drilled. Ill fitted, and then ill repaired, while the service became more and more flustered and insulting as the process dragged on, and on. I finally repaired the last of the items myself. Quite unbelievable.
Shutters were excellent quality, they look fantastic and really reasonable price for shutters in the area! Thank you
Such an easy experience from measuring up to quote to fitting. The fitters were polite and left the area, cleaner than when they started. Really reasonably price and a lot cheaper than the fitted Laura Ashley blind they replaced. Very pleased with the service received and would happily use again
