Have been with State Farm for 30+ years. My wife had a fender bender 1 month ago that left our car unsafe to drive. It has been five weeks and we still haven't received the promised check. We live in a rural area without any mass transit. State farm is right there to get their money's every month and even charged us for the month we could not use our car. Never again!

I suffered from a loss due to a less gruesome accident. It took nearly a month to receive the proper paperwork to deal with a title transfer. Prior to the collision i agreed to digital transmission of all correspondence. Moreover, the insurance payout was supposed to be credited to my account. However, State Farm has gone against my wishes and sent the direct payout to the bank via paper check. If I requested to have the funds via direct deposit why would state Farm thwart an agreement. I changed insurance from state farm to allstate. State farm was sent authorized letter to cancel my home owners insurance on June 1, 2022 but they canceled it on May 31st instead. Not happy. Now my mortgage company says I need to prove insurance for day of May 31st, 2022. My new insurance from allstate started on June 1st, 2022.

Never again rude customer service I felt The energy when I called,I should have hung up Then But I will be canceling in morning and I know Im nice too people but you are going To treat me with respect where I spend my money.

There online services stink They told me when moving my policy from ******* to ******* that they wouldn’t insure because of my driving record and credit history which are outstanding They never canceled it in ******* Dah !!!!!!!

My wife was in a car accident with someone who had liability insurance with State Farm. The other driver turned right from the middle lane and hit my wife's car. The police officer and multiple witnesses all said the same thing, the guy turned in front of her and hit her. Accidents happen, people are distracted and don't look, noone was hurt... but property damage is still expensive. We made a claim with State Farm as the other driver was very clearly at fault. State Farm offers discount for different things, as all insurance companies do. My complaint is transparency. State Farm gives you a gross cost on the documents sent to you are renewal. Then they go down and list each item of discount by name. They don’t however tell you what each individual item, price wise, is. Then at the bottom, your net 6 month premium. I want them to show the price of each individual discount item. For example, I do their Drive and Save program. On their App, I see what my running dollar saved is. When... read more

This company is horrid! I have been a customer for 21 years..never missed a payment and even payed additional premium increases as they occurred. Over the 21 years of doing business I had to submit 2 claims over the last 3 years..each was paid out and I did get an increase to my premium which I expected. When my policy was to be renewed--they cancelled me because of my two claims! I was not only insulted but taken by surprise...my agent did not fight for me to stay with the company which forced me to bring my business elsewh... read more

Where to begin.. We purchased a house last year and got everything insured through State Farm. After a while they dropped our house coverage so we went to G****. State farm was to send out a ESCROW check so we could pay it back in but they sent it to the wrong address and it was cashed. After trying to get this rectified we were basically told not my problem. So now I'm stuck fitting the 1500$ bill alone.
