State Farm could not give a straight answer as to why an adjuster was not sent out to see my vehicle at the body shop. When I originally reported my claim I tried calling to talk to someone and the automated system says they are having a high call volume to better assist me I needed to go to the app or website and file my claim. The app does a photo estimate, which is definitely not accurate because how can they see underneath everything and what's really going on with the vehicle. State Farm is terrible! They could care less for their customers! The agents are nasty and rude. I wish I would've changed companies sooner. Stay away from State Farm!

My wife and I have been loyal State Farm policy holders for over 40 years, and have many policies (including multiple homeowner policies, multiple vehicle policies, commercial policies, etc.). State Farm used to be a reputable company but their claims service is disgraceful now! Just tried to file a claim on a shattered sunroof (so the rain wouldn't leak in and cause even MORE damage), and the adjuster could not even LOOK at the damage for over a week! They will purposely delay getting paperwork done so that extra fees get added to your bill. We have had this issue through several vehicle sells and new purchases when we've gone to switch what is getting covered and then they have continued to charge us for vehicles even after we have called to have them removed and we had already sold them to someone else. They then say that it's already been done and they can't fix it. The lady named Jodie repeatedly told me they aren't a retail store! Very untrustworthy!

My vehicle was involved in an accident 6/14/2022! StateFarm waited 3 weeks to have an adjuster come out to check the vehicle, the body shop started working on the car then stopped because of this. They were waiting for the estimate to be approved that they sent weeks before. Nonetheless StateFarm told me that they were understaffed but meanwhile my car isn't finished and they're going back and forth with the body shop about the estimate. Company refused to cover my rental car beyond 24 days (current policy) despite the unprecedented circumstances of a parts shortage. They also refused to total car, but could not prove the numerical calculations they used to determine that the car (waiting on a part 6+ months & counting) was not worth being declared totaled. After being a loyal customer for 8 years, I was very disappointed in my experience with my agent. I was in an accident where a drunk driver ran a stop sign and totaled can’t new car. I was without a car for 3 months until I finally received a settlement. I had to argue for weeks until I received a fair settlement for what my car was actually worth in the current market. 19 % auto premium rate increase. Agent was unable to explain the rate increase. Attempted many times thru the day to get someone on the phone at the *********** **office to explain this to me but there is no direct contact with anyone from the cooperate level. I will not waste my agent's time as he was not involved with the rate increase. this is a slap in the face when you get no advance written explanation to why the rate is higher.
