I am so shocked when I saw ppl's reviews. I have a house under water damage. The total damage added up to about 100k including replacing the boilers and whole systems. After the first 7k payment, they totally disappeared! As a body shop, State Farm is without a doubt the worst insurance company there is to deal with. People who want to insure there cars, be warned! There customer service is ridiculous, and they do not want to fix your car as it should be repaired.
If you are switching insurance and considering State Farm, you may want to think twice. I worked with them and several other insurance companies on quotes. I was quoted what I thought was a good rate with State Farm and they even took my first month's payment of $126 and told me that would be my monthly payment. I canceled my claim because my agent was unprofessional by not returning my call after three attempts. Then I had to call Customer Service trying to file a claim. They were told I made three attempts but went to voice mail. Customer Service even tried and came back on the phone stating you right. No answer. The agent voice message went something like this we will return your call as they see as an emergency. I have read other reviews and I have a similar situation as Steve M. Satefarm is trying to strong-arm me into putting my daughter on my insurance who no longer lives in my house, she had 2 accidents in my car which neither one was her fault. I would give them a negative stars! I was involved in an accident, to which I was not at fault. The party at fault has statefarm. Once they accepted liability, they gave me a rental. A week later they decided to total my vehicle. They gave me 5 days to find a vehicle before I turned in the rental. I found a vehicle comparable to mine, 2 hours away. They upped my car insurance by $20 without letting me know and then their reason is The state of **** had a premium increase for all Auto Insurance policies.

State Farm is a horrible insurance I had a flood in my home that went from 3 floors and State Farm has not helped at all. Their lying saying that they paid me for the damages but they haven't. Every estimate I get State Farm deny it. I've been with them for over 20 years. I will be speaking to a lawyer about this. And they don't deserve a 1 rating.
A driver insured by StateFarm crashed into my house on 09/21/2022 and as of today they have yet to offer any kind of settlement or any way for me to fix my house. They told me to provide them with an estimate and I had a company come out to do the estimate but they wouldn’t accept either of the estimates that were submitted. Anytime I speak with the claims adjuster she is extremely vague and will not offer any information about the situation nor does the try to help resolve the situation. She says the estimates that have been provided are not in detail enough but I can’t help the fact that they don’t like the estimate.
