Was going with state farm but changed my mine and stayed with my currant insurane co and state farm sent a cancelation in the policy to dmv stating i did not have ins was only 1 hour then i changed my mind and stayed with my currant ins

I was trying to work with State Farm over a crash incident. They escalated it to a claims specialist who called to inform me that their clients denied hitting me. I asked if he had looked at the police report. He had not. I supplied the police report. State Farm after several days denied the claim. So I called and spoke to the claims specialist JONATHON ***** ********. I informed him I had additional information. Jonathon was rude, disrespectful. One star because the agents may know how they should respond to customers in a friendly way, but (State Farm claim personal ) waste time because they don't work out and they don't want to lose a penny, that is, even when people explained in detail and with evidence about the damage caused by nature, such as rain and wind, to the fence or any other damage on the property State Farm just wants to remove and reinforce and put back the same wood (in a fence damage) that is no longer usable. We have roof damage from a storm with missing shingles and missing granular on the shingles. When the roofer went on the roof to video the repair missing shingles there is more damage of losing granular on the shingles but also the shingle tabs lifted are cracked and will be coming off the next storm. All my neighbors with roof damage are getting their roofs replaced from other reputable insurance companies and my roof keeps losing shingles after storms. My home has had coverage with State farm for well over 20 years without any claims filed. I recently had a slab leak flooding parts of my home. I filed the claim. The inspector/adjuster came out. 20 minutes later I received a phone call stating that in order to cover the water damage an investigation must be done at my expense to locate the broken pipe under the slab. So to State Farm it makes sense for me to cause $10-$15k in damage and repair to my cement slab and foundation to find a busted pipe in order for them to cover... read more

State Farm is the worst when it comes to claims. Someone hit my parked car while I was pumping gas. He gave me his insurance information which was State Farm and his number. Then he lied to his Insurance so they denied my claim! The representative I dealt with at State Farm was very rude! I called to check my claim once a day and she told me to not keep calling they will reach out to me after it’s been 3 weeks. Very unprofessional!
