Two local repertable contractors said that I had hail damage, but state farm denied my claim and basically ignored me. Most roofs in my neighborhood were replaced, they had different insurance carriers.
The worst insurance company ever. I don’t know how they are still in business. I had my roof ripped off by a storm and they are refusing to pay anything and said they are raising my premiums because I filed a claim. This is the only claim I have ever had. They are awful and ridiculous. If you have State Farm you need to drop them
State Farm is an incompetent, unprofessional, irresponsible company!!!! Their agent in St. Augustine, FL : Lance Atwood, was verbally abusive towards my mother on the phone, he told my mother to "shut up" when they were discussing the policy!! She filed a complaint with the escalations department, they assured that the issue will be addressed and someone would reach out to her. My car was involved in a accident with one of their customers back in November 2022. She ran a light and hit my car. The company know she is lying, they never investigated the accident, just took her word for it. I am disabled and reached out plenty of times and got no response.!!!
Someone hit me in my car they had State Farm I'm having trouble getting anyone to fix it because they said State Farm won't pay the offer ridiculous prices and they fight and they still don't pay and there's a lot of litigation going on with State Farm right now what a mess I don't know what I'm going to do this is terrible. I went to 6 Car dealers and 2 mom and pop shops what a mess they all said no.
In February I was driving my son to school on ** south near ******* when a semi truck tire exploded 2 lanes over and flew into my the front of my car, rolling under my tires. I couldn't swerve without hitting cars so I just had to brace for impact. The truck tire damaged the underside of my car and I was told by my insurance provider that since it was a flyer object, it would be covered under my comprehensive. You need to get everything in writing. They increased my rate double what they said they would after a small claim that I could of just paid out of pocket. They reassured me my rate would only go up $10 a month then increase it to $30 a month.
I have been loyal State Farm customer for over 30 years...my local agent and staff are the best. However, my recent experience with State Farm homeowners for water damage done to hardwood floors has been horrendous. The lowball offer to sand my floors was unacceptable...hardwood floors will have to be replaced as per flooring experts. Shame on State Farm...I did report to the ******** state insurance commission my dissatisfaction with this claim.

Absolutely the worst experience with a homeowners claim. Continually low balling the contractor to the point the contractor walked away. Four months and back to square one. Terrible service throughout the process and I’ve been a customer for 14 years. No longer. Don’t waste your money with State Farm.
