My first and last experience with Jiffy Lube (Allied Lube Texas L.P.). I Went for a simple oil change on 1-11-22 and it has turned into a nightmare. On 1-11-22 I went in for an oil change and these people did not put in the oil filter in correctly and it leaked out completely. I took my truck into one of their Kent, WA locations for a routine oil change. Fast forward a few months and suddenly my engine light comes on and I have no power. Have the truck towed to the dealership to see what is going on and find out that the oil filter was not properly installed and I've had a slow oil leak. Just got back from a 3 hour appointment at the Eagan, MN location. On my initial appointment which started at 12:41 I went to this location for a full service oil change. I have been using Jiffy Lube for over 15 years, and this location for over 10. The service was supposedly performed, they checked the engine oil dipstick prior to me leaving and told me I was "all set" and I drove out of the location. I took my 2006 Ford Explorer to the Jiffy Lube #2765 located at **** ******* Ave, Philadelphia, PA XXXXX on 11/1/21. I needed to get my front brakes done, a coolant flush, new thermostat and a tune up (spark plugs, wires, etc.). I arrived at the store at 8 AM and spoke with Brian. Went to this location on 11/27/2021 and was greeted by the supposed to be manager as he stated. Im unsure because the invoice stated the team lead was Keith and I have no clue who that is. However, I went for a oil change and been there several times before since I am a local within under 5 minutes from the location. I pulled in as directed and they were slammed busy. I have a brand new HR-V.... As soon as I got my car I took a long road trip. It was time to get my 1st oil change.... Jiffy lube in Georgetown tx. Everything seemed to go fine.... I then drove to Florida and back and it was time for my 2nd oil change... when back to jiffy lube... all the guys were hovering over my car and kept checking my oil.... Took my 2014 Silverado to Oak Harbor WA for a transmission fluid exchange. During the process I noticed the tech adding a additive to the the transmission. I asked why and he stated it was recommended, days after having the service, I started having transmission slipping issues. I took it back to the Oak Harbor Jiffy lube and spoke to the manager, he checked the fluids and for leaks and stated everything was good.
