We brought our girl in Saturday afternoon in respiratory distress. They immediately met us at the door and took her back. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff for doing what they could for our sweet girl. We unfortunately had to let her go Sunday afternoon due to a tracheal collapse. We love and miss our sweet girl. Jefferson Animal Hospital were the best throughout the whole process.

October 7, 2016. That's when I learned who and what Jefferson Animal Hospital is. My sweet baby girl was not even 4 months old and the chances of her making it were slim. Being from etown, we brought her to Louisville because no one in etown could help her, especially on a Friday night after 8pm. The second we got there with Mazzy, the nurses took her back and started treating her. The nurses and vet would come out and update us every 30 minutes to an hour. Had a terrible experience. I took a friends cat in and unfortunately she passed away after seeing Dr. Dorn. My concern is that I paid $780 and never signed a treatment plan and was told they were trying to give me estimates and I refused? If that was the case I wouldn’t have be so surprised by the bill that I got from them. The Vet Tech even lied saying she ear hustled and said that I refused. But I work in the dental field and I manage to have patients sign a treatment plan so they’re aware of what they’re paying for out of... read more

I rushed molly in Sunday night around midnight after a freak accident, she fell off of the couch and landed on her side causing her head to hit the floor. We have no after hours vets here in Elizabethtown or anywhere close. She was in pretty rough shape Sunday evening and I wasn’t sure what her prognosis would be. Tuesday morning Dr. Isherwood released her to come home and she’s been making steady improvement since. 2 weeks ago my dog suffered a serious eye injury and I thought I was going to lose my dog. The doctors at Jefferson animal hospital not only saved my dog but saved her eye. At this point it looks like she might not regain vision but at least she has both eyes. I could not be happier with the service they provided.
