Had a terrible experience. I took a friends cat in and unfortunately she passed away after seeing Dr. Dorn. My concern is that I paid $780 and never signed a treatment plan and was told they were trying to give me estimates and I refused? If that was the case I wouldn’t have be so surprised by the bill that I got from them. The Vet Tech even lied saying she ear hustled and said that I refused. RecommendedI rushed molly in Sunday night around midnight after a freak accident, she fell off of the couch and landed on her side causing her head to hit the floor. We have no after hours vets here in Elizabethtown or anywhere close. She was in pretty rough shape Sunday evening and I wasn’t sure what her prognosis would be. Great place outstanding service
2 weeks ago my dog suffered a serious eye injury and I thought I was going to lose my dog. The doctors at Jefferson animal hospital not only saved my dog but saved her eye. At this point it looks like she might not regain vision but at least she has both eyes. I could not be happier with the service they provided.

I've been sitting here 45 minutes with my dog's mouth bleeding pretty badly. I asked about wait time about 20 minutes ago and they said they didnt know. told me we werent the only people here with a pet. slow and rude.

My cat was quite sick and I was afraid it might be life threatening. I couldn't find a local vet that would see him since it was the 4th of July holiday, so I drove the hour and a half drive to Louisville to Jefferson Animal Hospital. Even though the Covid-19 protocols were a little inconvenient. (I couldn't go into the building, which I totally understood), the staff was very nice.
