Met Dr Straut for first time today. From the initial phone call, the appointment and scheduled follow up my experience was much more than one could expect. Highly recommend and grateful for the the care and professionalism.
Dr, Darlington was great. I've worn glasses for nearsightedness and astigmatism since about 5th grade. I recently developed cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Darlington corrected my problem. Due to the lenses I chose, I may need reading glasses but my vision is greatly improved. His staff at the surgery center is terrific.

Cataract surgery both eyes. From the beginning consultation to my last check-up was phenomenal. Minimal wait times, clean and organized facilities, explanations by the doctor and staff. It appeared that everyone on staff was glad I was there and treated me with the utmost care and respect. My surgeries were a total success. Dr. Darlington is a true professional. Well done everyone. I can't name one thing they should improve on.
I had cataracts and the work Dr Darlington performed had tremendous results. I now can see 20/20 in both eyes; and the result is very clear and crisp like a HD TV. I haven't had vision like this since 7 years of age. His work is great and I also liked that he is a "lets get to the point" kind of doctor and was middle aged. I believe he has plenty of experience under his belt and implements the latest in lenses and surgical procedures.

Thank God for Dr. Darlington. I’ve worn glasses since my 30’s. Astigmatism has always made it difficult to read. I’ve always needed bifocals when I needed new glasses. Now at 76 years old cataracts made it difficult to drive at night and in bright light. I heard what a great Doctor Jason Darlington is. After my first visit with him I knew I found my doctor. Dr Darlington performed cataract surgery on both eyes in the last few weeks. I could not be happier with the surgery, his office staff, plus the Atlantic Surgery Center. I had worn glasses since I was 12 and contacts since I was 18! Oh, the gift of sight!! Thank you, Lord, and Dr. Darlington! I highly recommend Dr. Darlington of The Eye Institute! It was so quick and painless!
