Dr. Darlington was recommended to me by a family member who is in the medical field. I was very impressed at the early availability of an appointment due to my condition. From the first visit through my surgery he took the time to explain what needed to be done, answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything. I believed my right eye was my good eye until Dr Darlington fixed my left eye. It is awesome to see good again. The staff at the Eye Institute and the Surgery center were very patient. I am not someone who like having my eyes probed. Dr Darlington did a great job and the staff is excellent.
After my experience in the last few years. I had lost all trust in the medical profession. My first surgery was painless and restored my vision in my right eye to 20/20 the following day. My second surgery was 2 weeks later and went even better. I have experienced no pain, very little irritation and I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. Every aspect of my cataract surgery was efficient and organized. From the consultation to the surgery to the follow up visit’s.
I have been going to Dr. Darlington for several years after being referred to him. He has taken care of my eyes and when I needed to get cataract surgery a couple months back I knew I was in good hands. Very thankful for him and his staff.
The staff at The Eye Institute office were all very efficient & pleasant. The staff at the surgical center were over the top. Excellent, explaining everything they were doing & so very cordial. The whole process was a good experience. I upgraded lens, so the whole procedure was a total of $3280. My only disappointment is that I will go back for a refraction & they are charging $40. I recently had lens implants done in both eyes by Dr. Darlington----the explanation of procedure and complete overview of the process was easily explained by Dr. Darlington and his staff. I had Catarac Surgery performed by Dr. Darlington. He explained everything going in and everything during the follow up. He is very personable and very very intelligent. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. I have been wearing glasses since I was in the 7 grade. In other words, for over sixty years. Now, just a few days after my second surgery, I can see perfectly. Thank you Dr. Darlington.
