Worse experience in my life. Had a 130 appointment. 4 people came in after me and they took them in before me when I camplained they didn’t even apologize said too bad I have to wait After an hour I left without seeing the Doctor. Staff is rude and should be fired. Didn’t care if I was upset told me to sit down and wait. Of course they won’t tell Dr Darrington afraid they would be fired and they should.
Dr Darlington is a very personable fellow, he is extremely confidant and puts you at ease. He gets right to the point and doesn't waste time, he always sits and looks directly in your eyes and asks if you have any questions after his exams. He did cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I can see perfectly and don't need glasses except for reading, it has been 62 years that I have been wearing glasses, it is a new and colorful life and I just am in awe of my surroundings. Worked for many years as an ophthalmic sales rep in southern FL (east and west coasts), selling the machines that do the cataract extraction, the hand held instruments used during the procedure, the intra-operative viscoelastics (to protect the cornea among other things) and the intraocular lens implants. Cornea scrape operation
The doctor was skilled but making patients wait for hours after a scheduled appointment to see you WITH NO APOLOGIES is unacceptable. Your time is not more important than your patients' time is. Remember that.
I have had cataract surgery on both eyes and treatment for cancer in my right eye. From the initial appointment I could tell I would be confident that I was going to receive excellent care. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Darlington to my friends
Every visit was very professional, everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable.
