I always order the same things I hope this place didn't get new owners. Pad Thai, Tom yum soup, chicken laab, yum calamari. Paying bout $40 for these tiny dishes did not taste Thai today. I know what Thai food taste like, for the first time the food jux tasted plain salty and dry no flavor. Tom yum omg tasted like salty chicken stock n MSG. First time my kids spit out the pad Thai they eat almost anything not picky but today they said it was horrible. I'm scared to even go back to this place after today.
The food was fresh and very good. I am a food snob and tend to seek out the best. This was a great find while I was on business in Indy. There were not many people seated so I wasn't hesitant but it filled up later. I enjoyed the soup and red curry dish immensely. Worth it!
GREAT food – i have eaten at many thai restaurants and this is by far the best. the pineapple fried rice is out of this world. also the crab rangoon here is to die for. yum.
Thai as good as Seattle – We loved our favorite Thai place in Seattle and were nervous about Asian in the midwest, but this place does not disappoint. Service was prompt and friendly, prices were reasonable, and the menu had plenty of favorites. The Larb was excellent, as good as any we have had, and the Tom Yum was a welcome treat. After three apps we shared the pepper chicken, which was full of good chicken and fresh veggies. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised to see such quality Asian so close to us.
Great first experience – My wife and I love Thai food, and we had a place that we adored in Bloomington, but were depressed to hear our new co-workers and friends in Indy say that there was not a good Thai place up here. Luckily, we tried Jasmine and can now correct them. Our first trip there was a great experience, with wonderful food and outstanding service. My wife got the chicken Tom Yum soup, which was perfect for a summer day, light and clean and full of white chicken meat and not a hint of gristle (which I find is rar... read more
Loved the Pineapple Rice – I travel a lot and eat at lots of Thai restaurants. Most places when I order my food HOT it is barely Medium spicy. I ordered the Pineapple Rice at Jasmin Thai, number 5 spicy (the top of the scale) and was pleasantly surprised. The presentation was very nice, It came served in 1/2 a hollowed out pineapple, and was steaming hot and spicy HOT. Overall a very good experience, delicious spicy food. I will be back to try other dishes.
good seafood – Well I went there on my b-day with my husband... it was a weekday, apart from us there were 5-6 more people, lastly we were the two customers remaining at about 8-30 Pm. they close at 9pm on weekdays. We just moved from Connecticut, and somehow we had great great thai food in CT.... so in comparison to that..i would rate this resturant 5 on a scale of 10. Our all time Fav the Tom Yum soup was just too watery and not that flavourful. Well pad thai was good. The seafood was really yummy...this is what i liked . ... read more
