I never feel he is dancing around the issue. And he often consults with other oncologists so I feel like 2nd and 3rd opinions are built in.

It’s obvious how busy this clinic is and yet I never feel rushed. Dr. Uyeki listens and explains his plan. A follow up appointment was scheduled in case the plan wasn’t helping.

Dr. Uyeki is the definition of someone you want in your corner when facing a cancer diagnosis. He is compassionate, dedicated, knowledgeable, and humble. He has an amazing bedside manner and is always there to talk things through, explain things, brainstorm solutions... whatever you need, he is there. He also maintains connections with top-notch centers like MD Anderson and City of Hope, and is a 100% willing to solicit other opinions and inputs, when necessary. His approach is practical but empathetic. He is very responsive... read more

I’ve been seeing Dr. Uyeki for 4 or 5 years. In my book, he’s the best.

The thing that stood out about my last visit is that it was the same as all my visits. Thorough, professional, friendly. I feel very at ease with Dr. Uyeki. I can ask him anything and I will get a well-explained answer. If he doesn’t know some small detail off the top of his head, he’ll look it up right away, during the appointment. I would recommend anyone I know to him for cancer treatment.

Dr Uyeki, instills confidence in his patients in regards to treatments he recommends, and his referrals. His referrals are excellent as is his staff. He communicates well with his patients and is considerate of a patients non- medical schedule. He has a great bedside manner so to speak. He invites all questions a patient may have and provides answers and great explanations. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to him and have him as my Oncologist. I can not recommend him highly enough.

I have a very complicated medical history/background. Dr Uyeki is one of my "super docs" that helps me manage/cope. He literally ferrets out obscure symptoms, problems so they can be treated. Dr Uyeki is persistent and searches for answers to my problems other docs have written off as untreatable. The personal care, appointments not rushed through, and investment in my health is wonderful. Dr Uyeki takes care of ME. His focus is on my health, well-being, and coping. The first visit Dr Uyeki held both my hands in his and prom... read more
