Dr. Uyeki is an excellent professional. He is a pro-active and knowledgeable oncologist. I’m grateful for having him as my doctor. He was clear about my diagnosis, he keeps me informed about my results and is quick to answer to all my questions. I feel secure and supported by his decisions about my treatment. He has been a highly positive influence over my emotional being.

I have been seeing Dr. Uyeki since I've had lung cancer surgery. He recommended chemo and even though it came back and I had radiation. He has been wonderful and caring throughout it all! He is a very caring person and a great doctor!

I came to Dr. Uyeki from a previous 15-month long breast cancer experience with an oncologist in Illinois. I spent 14 months politely requesting information: What is my oncotype score and my ki67 ? [The standard of breast cancer care since 2014.] The Illinois physician refused to order either. Therefore, I have been "flying blind" for 15 months. Dr. Uyeki spent more time with me at my first visit than the previous oncologist had spent with me in 15 months. In Illinois, my oncologist did not see me at all between Feb. 8, (12 ... read more

He listens and is honestly interested in what you have to say. He is extremely knowledgeable not just on cancer but other medical events as well. He is thorough and explains what the best coarse of action is and is truly and sincerely interested in your well being. Highly professional but with a human side.

Dr Uyeki is very thorough and asks many questions about how your activities affect you. He is extremely interested in a patient's ability to function in their normal daily lives. He knows his stuff and constantly is reviewing my lab results to monitor any changes that may affect my abilities to function in my current lifestyle.

Dr. Uyeki is my former partner at Texas Oncology. As a retired oncologist, I have the knowledge and resources to go anywhere to have my cancer treated. I am so glad I chose Dr. Uyeki and so grateful for the excellent care provided to me by his staff and him. I am on a clinical trial of which he is the principal investigator. I am getting state-of-the-art therapy delivered with kindness. And I love to share recipes and birding stories with him. I have referred my friends to him. A totally trusted physician.
