My wife and I are both people who have been diagnosed with cancer. My wife is ten years out of active treatment for her breast cancer. We both go to my appointments and we both have great respect for Dr. Uyeki's professionalism, his ability to convey the diagnosis and the treatment desired. Unfortunately our families have had several interactions with different cancer doctors. We have found Dr Uyeki to be the most knowledgeable, current and compassionate. He looks at the entire person to try to give them the best quality of ... read more

After I was diagnosed, I was referred to Dr. Uyeki by my ENT. My first impression was what a wonderful bedside manner Dr. had. I was so worried but his calm demeanor put me at ease. He answered my questions, told me exactly what my treatment would be. He is brilliant and highly intelligent. Thank you Dr. Uyeki!!

Dr. “Jim” is without question the best of his profession. He listens , asks and shares his recommendations with his patients . He makes each meeting a collaborative conversation and each decision shared .

Getting a diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma is scary. After meeting Dr. Uyeki and hearing what the plan was and feeling confident this was the way to go, I felt positive and ready to go. I he listened to my questions (which I had every visit), answered honestly, looked me in the eye when he spoke, and laughed at my comments. He took my treatment seriously (as did I) but I think he understood I handle stress with humor and he grinned several time behind his mask. I was and will be comfortable asking ANY questions and know I w... read more

Every visit I feel at ease with Dr. Uyeki. At this appointment he explained clearly the need for an infusion and how I would feel after the infusion. I always feel included in the treatment plans and comfortable asking questions. In previous appointments he referred me to the excellent breast surgeons and radiation oncologist. Nobody wants to go through cancer, if you do, Dr. Uyeki is the best of the best.

Dr. Uyeki is professional and very caring. He has been my doctor on discovery, treatment and during my remission for the last 7 years. He even helped me in a non cancer related issue by recognizing my immediate need for treatment on another condition. I have and will recommended him to others and will continue to do so. He is honest and straight forward and very trustworthy. He keeps his patients informed without instilling fear. Dependable and very intelligent. Trust him with my life.

I have been seeing Dr. Uyeki for my anemia for several years. I am now no longer anemic after being under his care and guidance. He is a brilliant doctor with a great bedside manner. He puts me at ease and I never feel rushed. Dr Uyeki is always there to listen. Dr. Uyeki has been treating my husband for a very aggressive cancer since Jan. 2015. His small cell carcinoma spread to his pancreas in 2017 but because of the stereotactic radiation that Dr Uyeki prescribed, it is gone and has not returned. Unbelievable!!!! Roy and ... read more

Immediately received, short wait and taken to room by “Lizzie”. The Dr. as is his nature, made the situation I was in clear and explained all possibilities. I am truly impressed with him and his surrounding staff, Jack
