Getting a non hodgkins lymphoma diagnosis was scary - how did I get cancer? Dr. Uyeki put me at ease, assured me he would treat my cancer aggressively & kept me informed about my progress as I went through R-CHOP Chemo. I felt very comfortable asking questions at each visit. He took the time to listen and answer & if I didn't understand something, explain so I could understand. No question was silly, irrelevant, or too strange to answer. I truly felt he was MY oncologist - he cared. He & his staff answered my late night port... read more

Dr. Uyeki is up on the technology and very helpful in making informed decisions. He was spending time after hours for me even before he was officially my dr. He reached out to md Anderson for confirmation on procedures. Saw me in hospital even after being on call the night before. The guy is just great!

It is impossible to give Dr Uyeki a review worthy of him as a physician and man of stellar character. My health is a priority to him, all of it. So much kindness and gentle honesty during my appointments. He has held my hands in his, looked me in the eyes, and promised to care for me through all my challenges. For the last 10 years, I've been through some rough times with my health. Dr Uyeki has provided exceptional care, calmed my fears, collaborated with my other doctors, and been available when the symptoms came crashing ... read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Uyeki's for more than 10 years. I can't say enough about how much I trust his medical knowledge and skills at diagnosing and treating my health issues. Even though I know he has many other patients to see, I always feel like he has time for my questions and to explain test results and treatments. Very rare doctor!

He explains everything very well, however always lets us know if we think of another questions to notify him at the office via patient portal. Made me feel very comfortable and that he cared about me - I never felt rushed. My PCP referred Dr. Uyeki to me, she said "I would refer my own mother to Dr. Uyeki". That was very meaningful to me and she was right.
